Medal wins at Tokyo Whisky & Spirits Competition 2025

Held annually Tokyo Whisky & Spirits Competition in Japan brings together producers from around the world to celebrate excellence in whisky and spirits. Judged by a panel of industry experts, the competition aims to highlight craftsmanship, quality, and innovation across a wide range of categories. This competition has become one of Asia’s most respected spirits competitions, offering both established and emerging brands a meaningful platform for international recognition.
Each year this competition offers a moment of reflection for producers around the world—a chance to see how their work resonates with some of the most experienced palates in the industry. This year, we're proud and humbled to share that several of our whiskies were recognized among the winners.

Two expressions brought home Gold Medals: “The Dancing Cultist”, 7 year old Blair Athol from our Voodoo Whisky series, and the “The Relic of the Shore”, 12 year old Inchgower from our WhiskyHeroes collection. Both are bottlings we’ve poured a lot of thought and care into, so to see them appreciated in this way is deeply rewarding.
We were also honoured with Silver Medals for the” Gathering on the Seven Hills”, 15 year old Glendullan, “ Blazing Mystery”, 13 year old North British, and “Raise of the Ardphroaig”, 10 year old Ardmore 10 Year Old from WhiskyHeroes range; also with a Bronze Medal for “Mask of the Death”, 10 year old Dailuaine 10 Year Old from Voodoo range. Each of these bottles was one part of the journey we’ve been on to bottle whisky with soul and character.

Recognition like this doesn’t define what we do, but it does encourage us. It tells us that the small choices we make—whether it’s selecting a quirky cask, taking a risk on an unusual finish, or sticking to natural presentation—are landing with drinkers and judges alike.
The TWSC award ceremony will take place this August at Meiji Kinenkan in Tokyo. Whether we make it there in person or not, it’s an honour to be part of a community that continues to celebrate diversity and creativity in spirits. Thanks to everyone who shares a dram with us, gives us feedback, or simply believes in what we’re trying to do. This one’s for you. Slàinte!
