Cask Masters Range: Our Latest Single Cask Whisky Releases
We’re excited to introduce the Cask Masters range, our latest series of single cask whisky releases. This collection features eight carefully selected single cask whiskies from distilleries across the Highland and Speyside regions. Each whisky is non-chill filtered, with full transparency regarding age statements, cask information, and bottling dates. While some are bottled at natural cask strength, others are released at carefully chosen strengths to best showcase their character.
From Craigellachie to Loch Lomond and Glenlossie, these casks have been chosen for their quality and distinctiveness. The maturation and finishing process primarily focuses on first-fill casks, featuring a variety of cask influences—from the classic Sherry and Bourbon to the more unique Muscat, White Port, Bordeaux, and Tokaj wine casks. This selection highlights the diverse impact that different wood types can have on whisky.
A Distinctive Label Design
The Cask Masters labels take inspiration from kirigami, the Japanese paper-cutting technique known for its precision and attention to detail. This traditional method has been used for centuries to create intricate designs by cutting layers of paper into striking patterns. We embraced this style as a nod to the meticulous selection process behind each whisky in this range—every element, from cask choice to bottling, is carefully considered.
With Cask Masters labels, we’ve taken a slightly different approach from what our audience is used to. The imagery on the labels draws from classic Scotch whisky traditions and the landscapes that have shaped its history, reinforcing the connection between whisky and its origins. This approach offers a more refined aesthetic while maintaining the distinct identity that defines Brave New Spirits. Each bottle is not only a high-quality spirit but also a visually distinctive piece within any collection.
Three Series Within the Cask Masters Range
To offer a diverse selection, the Cask Masters range is divided into three series:
Golden Proof – A range of well-balanced, approachable single cask whiskies, focus on fist-fill casks, offering excellent quality at a competitive price point (£60 per bottle in the UK).
Distiller’s Cut – A showcase of distillery character, enhanced by maturation in specially selected first-fill casks.
Rare & Exclusive – Limited and highly sought-after releases, featuring some of our most exceptional casks.
